Just yesterday Obama's "stimulus" package, known as the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, or H.R. 1, was passed by the United States House of Representatives. Now this is Obama's answer for our economy, the package that is supposed to save us from a disastrous economy.
Well, I have news for you, there's nothing real stimulating about this package - well, except for the fact it's stimulating a lot of anger with Republicans. You see, this bill is going to cost at least $1 trillion (yes that's trillion) dollars over time. That's not a trillion dollars in government money, it's a trillion dollars of YOUR money.
It's easy to see that Obama's bouncing the U.S. Checkbook with this useless bill that he thinks will stimulate the economy and get us back on track. Well, the only thing that's going to happen here is that we are going to be paying all the "overdraft" fees in the next few years.
Interested in getting a look at those "overdraft" fees that you'll be paying if this bill goes through? Here's a look at some of the spending that is included in H.R. 1.
- For STD Prevention - $400 million
- For Honey Bee Insurance - $150 million
- To Support Supercomputing Activities - $70 million
- For the Removal of Fish Passage Barriers - $20 million
- The Rehabilitation of Off Roading Trails - $25 million
- Department of Commerce Renovation - $34 million
This is where your money will be going. Supposedly this is going to create jobs. What do you think? Where exactly is the stimulus in this bill? Yes, I'm sure this is going to help out the "common" people that Barack Obama so liked to identify with during his pre-election days.
So, get ready folks. You'll soon be paying the overdraft fees as Obama continues to overdraft the American checkbook again and again. Don't look for any refunds either…

For starters I don't even think that Obama believes that this will stimulate the economy. Everyone Obama included knows that this is a 40yr old wish list that the Dems have been saving for a rainy day meaning raining our money. As for the overdraft fees our children and theirs will pay those because we will all stroke out from the strain.
